Cleansing and Healing Every Wound

ArkCare is a nonprofit organization founded by Wufland in partnership with the San Marino Lions Club in California.

Our mission is simple: to bring timely care and warmth to every wound and every life through cleansing and healing. From a small scrape to a deep wound in the aftermath of a disaster, we take action to protect lives and connect people through genuine care.                                              We believe that every wound deserves complete healing, and every life is worthy of love and compassion. Through consistent and purposeful action, we not only help people address physical injuries but also spread the power of care. By providing wound care, we connect families, communities, people, and animals, ensuring that this cycle of compassion continues to grow with every step we take together.


In the act of tending to an injured animal, a volunteer learns responsibility. In the donation of wound care products to disaster survivors, recipients feel the warmth of human kindness. These small, seemingly ordinary actions are the “healing” we seek—not just for physical wounds but also for the invisible fractures in relationships and trust. When strangers become neighbors, and barriers between people begin to dissolve, true healing occurs.

What We Focus On

    We aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide effective wound care for themselves, their families, and their pets. Through workshops, online resources, and expert guidance, we emphasize the importance of timely care to prevent small injuries from becoming bigger problems.

  • Pet and Animal Care

    Animals, like people, deserve compassion and care. We focus on providing wound care products for injured pets, supporting animal shelters, and educating pet owners on proper wound care techniques. Our goal is to ensure that every animal receives the attention and healing they need to thrive.

  • Family Care

    Healing begins at home. We provide families with the tools and knowledge to address injuries and promote a culture of care. By encouraging thoughtful attention to wounds within the family, we help strengthen bonds and create a foundation for compassion.



  • Community Care

    We believe in the power of communities to support one another. Through neighborhood events, volunteer initiatives, and the distribution of wound care kits, we promote connection and trust. We also focus on shared spaces like dog parks, which not only offer safe places for pets to recover and play but also foster interactions and friendships between neighbors. These efforts help create stronger, more compassionate communities.

    In times of crisis, immediate care is essential. We mobilize quickly to deliver wound care products and resources to affected areas, ensuring that both people and animals receive the care they need.
